Talking bears, smart foxes, and rowing moles – in Peter Wächtler’s works, we encounter animals, mythical creatures, and characters from fairy tales. They often behave like humans: they think about things, have hopes, are sad, funny, or strange. Take a close look and then create your own imaginative figures out of clay. What stories do they tell?

Haus am Waldsee warmly invites its neighbours, friends, families, and everyone interested to explore and tend to the garden with the Haus am Waldsee team. Together, we want to work in the garden, prepare it for winter, and get in touch with each other. Drop in and out any time!
During short guided tours, we’ll take a closer look at the garden: its plants, history, and the works of art it contains. In a workshop, we’ll create a Harvest Blanket together from leaves. Under the apple trees in the front garden, we’ll press juice from the garden’s apples and taste it together. Anyone wishing to contribute apples and pears from their own garden is very welcome to bring them along. Together, we’ll end this autumnal garden day coming together by the fire pit with punch and tea.
To thank you for your participation, all volunteers receive free admission to the exhibition Peter Wächtler. Ständig on the day.
